NBA Trade Rumors: Bucks & Kings Could Swap Star Players
The Sacramento Kings are open for business. We've had reports that everyone on the roster is available for trade except for two untouchables. We know that Zach LaVine is not one of those two. So his name has come up in rumors, but until now, it's seemed like there's not much of a market for the defensively-challenged scoring wing. That could be changing.
According to the latest reports, the Milwaukee Bucks have shown interest in LaVine, and it's possible that Kyle Kuzma could be a return piece Milwaukee could offer to the Kings.

“The Milwaukee Bucks have conducted background due diligence on Zach LaVine," per Michael A. Scotto of Hoops Hype. He adds that nothing is imminent at the moment, but there is a natural fit for Kuzma in Sacramento:
"Should Milwaukee’s interest in LaVine become more serious, it’s worth noting that Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma and Kings Governor Vivek Ranadive both invested in a new women’s professional sports venture called Major League Volleyball, and Kuzma has been linked to the Kings via trade rumors for several seasons.”
LaVine was acquired by the Kings from the Chicago Bulls last season. He's still scoring at a nice rate this year, though his assists and rebounds are down. He has another year run on his contract after this one, though it's a player option at $49 million. It's hard to fathom a situation where he doesn't pick that up.
He's averaging 20.5 points, 2.2 assists and 3.3 rebounds this season, while shooting 38.6% from the three-point line. LaVine was a two-time All-Star in his eight-year run with the Bulls, and averaged 24.2 points per game there.
Kuzma also has one year to run on his deal, but at a much more palatable $20 million. He is averaging a five-year low 13.9 points per game this year. He has only been a part-time starter for the Bucks, which hasn't been the case for him since he was with the Lakers half a decade ago.
The Bucks have gone 0-3 with Giannis Antetokounmpo out of the lineup, and sit at 8-10, in the 11-seed in the Eastern Conference. They'd like to shake things up, and we'll have to keep an eye on their interest in LaVine.
