Breaking Report: Giannis Antetokounmpo has 3 Prefered Destinations, inc. Raptors

Now that the word is out that Giannis Antetokounmpo officially wants to move on from the Milwaukee Bucks, we are getting an additional report from sources at the Dallas Hoops Journal that there are 3 teams that the Greek Freak prefers for his next destination.

The New York Knicks, Miami Heat, and Toronto Raptors are the three teams listed in a report from Ashish Mathur

NBA legend Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready to leave the Milwaukee Bucks and the future Hall of Famer prefers to be traded to the Miami Heat, New York Knicks or Toronto Raptors, sources told DallasHoopsJournal.

All three teams, naturally, are doing their best to put together a serious offer for the Bucks.

Knicks failed to land Giannis last summer

In the case of the Knicks, Giannis already asked to be traded to them once, back in the summer, but New York could not come up with a package that Milwaukee was interested in.

But they're working on a new angle now. "The Knicks are aware that Antetokounmpo wants to play for them and have had discussions with the Portland Trail Blazers about a Jrue Holiday trade, sources said. Antetokounmpo and Holiday played together in Milwaukee and remain close friends," writes Mathur.

He goes on to suggest that New York could trade Mikal Bridges to Portland to get Holiday and then send Karl-Anthony Towns to Milwaukee in an Antetokounmpo trade, according to his sources. That would allow the Bucks to then flip Towns to acquire more assets.

As for the Heat, there's a connection there as well, as Giannis is said to have wanted to play with Bam Adebayo. They share the same agent.

Raptors make only two players untouchable in any Antetokounmpo offer

For Toronto, they have a long been enamoured with trying to acquire Antetokounmpo, and they are willing to part ways with anyone on the roster to get him, save for Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram.

Giannis is averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game this season, but due to injuries has only appeared in 30 contests. He is currently out for about six weeks with a calf injury. That, however, won't stop any team from trying to acquire the two-time MVP.
