Steph Curry Return This Season Looking Less & Less Likely
Is Steph Curry's season over? The Golden State Warriors superstar has missed the last 15 games with a knee injury and we learned earlier this week that he will be out for at least another 10 days before he'll be reevaluated. But the latest report on Friday suggests that the Dubs are very concerned about not rushing Curry back for a season that's just not looking like a contending year.
REPORT: The Warriors fear rushing Steph Curry back could re-aggravate his knee injury, per @anthonyVslater.

According to Anthony Slater of ESPN on the Hoop Collective podcast, the Warriors fear that rushing Curry back could re-aggravate his knee injury.
“Next season has become THE season in this final Steph Era and I don't think at all [the Warriors] want to jeopardize that.
"This is from what I've gathered; an injury that they fear if you do put Steph back on the court and he's not quite ready, it could reinjure, reaggravate.”
As Slater alludes to, the Warriors are hoping to put all their eggs into next year's basket, as this one, with Jimmy Butler out for the year, seems like a lost cause.
The Warriors are currently sitting in the 9th seed in the Western Conference, holding down the third of four Play-In spots. But they're just 5-10 without Curry over this last stretch, and overall are 9-17 without him in the lineup this season.
Another five games from now (maybe more), and their play-in positioning could really be compromised. Even if he does return and they somehow get out of the Play-In, they'll simply be setting themselves up to get steamrolled in the first round by either the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs.
Saving Steph for next year seems like the prudent thing to do. But we'll know more in 10 days or so.
