Steph Curry Timeline Update is Bad News For Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are currently sitting in the 9th seed in the Western Conference, holding down the third of four Play-In spots. Avoiding the 9th or 10th seed is a big advantage, as a 7th or 8th seed need just one win in two tries in the Play-In event to make it into the playoffs proper. The 9 & 10 seeds have to win twice in order to get in.
The Warriors would dearly love to climb up in the Play-In setting, however, they learned today that they will have to continue on for at least five more games without Steph Curry.
Golden State's Stephen Curry will miss another 10 days with his ailing knee, stretching his absence to five more games and a total of 20 consecutive, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater. Curry has started on-court work and is aiming to intensify his workouts.

He was re-evaluated on Wednesday, and the prognosis was issued. He will be re-evaluated again in 10 days.
In the last 15 games that he's missed, Golden State is just 5-10, and overall are 9-17 without him in the lineup this season. They've lost three straight.
The Dubs, of course, are also without Jimmy Butler for the rest of the season, putting a lot of pressure on the likes of Draymond Green, De'Anthony Melton and third-year man Brandin Podziemski.
Golden State just dropped behind the Clippers for that all-important 8-seed after their last loss. They'll try to stay above water for another a minimum of another 10 days and five games while Steph continues his on-court work, trying to come back from a bone bruise in his right knee.
The superstar two-time scoring champion and 12-time All-Star averages a team-leading 27.2 points per game this season. That's more than twice as much as the team's next leading scorer, Melton, at 13 PPG.
