Warriors Trying For Stunning Unification of LeBron James & Anthony Davis

The Golden State Warriors are attempting to put a whole lot of championship rings together on the same team, as they are pursuing both Anthony Davis (in a trade with the Wizards) AND LeBron James (in free agency) to form a super-team with Steph Curry & Draymond Green.

The Warriors are attempting to trade with the Wizards for Anthony Davis and then sign free agent LeBron James, per Yahoo Sports' @KevinOConnor.

Sources say Golden State hope adding Davis would help lure LeBron from the Lakers once free agency opens on June 30.

To add fuel to this fire, Green has officially declined his player option on his $27.7M contract for the coming season, making him a free agent. More importantly, it gives the Warriors the cap room to make their AD/LeBron pursuit happen.
