3-Team Trade Sends Lu Dort To Hawks

In a deal designed to help them clear salary cap space,  the Oklahoma City Thunder have sent one of their 2025 championship pieces, Lu Dort, to the Atlanta Hawks in a three team trade on Sunday.

Thunder receive:

Three second-round picks

 Dort is on an expiring 17.7M contract. He's still an elite defender and adds a certain type of physicality the Hawks  had desperately lacked.

Dort joins another new acquisition for Atlanta this off-season, Aaron Wiggins, to further bolster the Hawks impressive defense.

As for OKC, they are now below the second apron, and have made some significant changes this off-season.

For Dallas, the addition of Risacher gives them three former No. 1 overall pics on their roster, along with Kyrie Irving (2011), Risacher (2024) and Cooper Flagg (2025).
