LeBron’s Agent Reveals 5 Leading Free Agent Destinations For James

LeBron James' agent and bff Rich Paul went on a podcast on Friday and brought with him a whiteboard outlining his prized client's most likely destinations in free agency this summer.

And in a surprise, the Golden State Warriors are not amongst the apparent five frontrunners anymore. This was confirmed by Shams Charania.

The whiteboard boldly featured five favored teams in the middle, and five other teams literally on the outside, looking in.
Philadelphia 76ers

The Sixers shocking trade for Jaylen Brown has vaulted them to the forefront, and Rich Paul explains why:

"Everything changed (when they got Brown)... How could you not have (LeBron's) attention, when you have (VJ) Edgecombe, (Tyrese) Maxey, Brown and (Joel) Embiid?"

Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron's original, two-time team may seem like one of the favorites, but Paul said that by trading away Darius Garland, it may have hurt them in the James sweepstakes.

Miami Heat

Another of LeBron's former teams, the Heat would make a lot of sense. And despite the awkward breakup back in 2014, Miami would be more than happy to have James back.

Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets are near the top of the heap, too, says Paul.

"Is Denver actually a legitimate destination?" he was asked. "They wouldn't be on the board (if they weren't)," Paul answered.

Minnesota Timberwolves

The T-Wolves were the other team that Paul focused on as a potential destination.

Minnesota has already made a big swing this offseason, trading for LaMelo Ball. Adding James would put them right in the conversation in the West.
