Shocking Blockbuster Trade Sends Jaylen Brown To The Sixers

Out of left field, the Philadelphia 76ers have swooped in and won the Jaylen Brown sweepstakes. The Boston Celtics, in a shocking move, have traded their 2024 Finals MVP to their arch-rival Sixers in exchange for... Paul George? Plus two first-rounders.

Of course, this is not shocking because they traded Brown...That was expected. But to the Sixers? For Paul George??

George is the current title-holder of worst contract in the NBA. He still has two years and $110 million remaining, after playing just 37 and 41 games in the first two years of the contract in Philly, putting up his worst numbers in over a dozen years. 

With the Sixers, Brown will join the also-oft-injured Joel Embiid, but also an electric backcourt of Tyrese Maxey and VJ Edgecombe.
