NBA Champion Free Agent Finds New Home With Raptors

The Toronto Raptors had been looking for some depth at the center spot, and have found it with former New York Knicks big man Trey Jemison.

It’s a two-way deal for the 6’10”, 270 pound center. He played in just 13 games for the Knicks last season, but still gets a championship ring.

The 26-year-old went undrafted, but eventually found his way into the league with the Memphis Grizzlies and Washington Wizards back in the 2023-24 season. 

He played in 22 games for the LA Lakers the following year, and this past season he caught on with the Knicks.

Jemison has a 7’2” wingspan and can be a lob threat on the offensive side of the ball. He also brings a physical presence to the frontcourt and has decent athleticism for a player of his size.

He has played on five teams over his three-season career, averaging 3.7 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks across 74 total games played.
