Video: Watch Mac McClung Pull Off Insane Feat at Shaq's Dunkman Championship

When it comes to dunk competitions, nobody inspires shock and awe like Mac McClung. At the inaugural Shaquille O'Neal Dunkman Championships Tuesday night, McClung pulled off an insane feat of jumping not only over a car, but a car that had three people stacked on top of each other coming out of the roof. Watch:

All of this had Draymond Green, commentating on the competition, singing McClung's praises.

“Mac McClung has IT,” Green said during the event coverage. “Like he's a guy who, when the stage is big, he's just got it. Some people has it, it's that thing you can't explain.”

The 6-foot-2 point guard may not be able to get his props playing in the league as a regular player, but as a showman in dunk contests, he is literally unrivalled. McClung has already gone down in history as the first player to win three consecutive NBA Slam Dunk Contests. He's also a two-time G League MVP. 

Somehow, however, that insane car jump at Dunkman wasn't even enough to earn McClung the title in this competition, as an unheralded accounting intern pulled it off, featuring a Vinsanity dunk redux:

As for McClung, the 27-year-old spent part of the 2025–26 NBA regular season with the Chicago Bulls, including a personal best 13-point outing in 18 minutes. 

He'll be taking his talents overseas this season to play with Bàsquet Girona in Spain, a team owned by former NBA champion Marc Gasol.
