The Gordon Hayward Trade Rumors Are Heating Up!
Gordon Hayward is currently sitting with a $34 million dollar player option for next season and you can bet your bottom dollar he picks that up with the Boston Celtics and doesn't walk away from some serious cash. Once the option is picked up, it's likely Hayward is on his way out of Bean Town.
The Boston Celtics have reportedly been discussing a deal with the Indiana Pacers, which is where Hayward and his family call home in the off season.
According to Jared Weiss of the Athletic, the Celtics could parlay Hayward with several of their upcoming draft picks, to acquire both Myles Turner and Victor Oladipo from the Pacers, in what would be a blockbuster deal to shake up the eastern conference.
No doubt, Celtics fans would be dancing in the streets, while the Pacers nation would realize their team is hitting the rebuild button.
Keep an eye on these two teams as this trade makes a ton of sense for both clubs and the players involved.
