Kawhi Leonard Wanted Raptors President Masai Ujiri Kicked Out of the Bubble
When Masai Ujiri traded beloved Toronto Raptor DeMar DeRozan to the San Antonio Spurs for a package that included Kawhi Leonard, it took Raps fans a few weeks to open up to the move. Once it was determined Leonard was indeed healthy, the #WeTheNorth following quickly changed their tone, which changed even more when they saw what Leonard was capable of on the floor.
We all know the rest is history, including a 'one and done' championship for Canada and Leonard headed back home to California to play for the Clippers.
While Ujiri has been open and honest about his love for all of his players, you would think he may have some hard feelings towards Leonard for leaving Toronto. That's not the case at all, in fact, the two still chat and had quite the experience together at the NBA's bubble.
