Milwaukee Bucks and Sacramento Kings Talking Trade

The Milwaukee Bucks are working the phones trying to assemble the best possible trade scenario for this season and for their future as they try to do whatever they can to convince Giannis Antetokounmpo to sign his supermax extension.

Is Harrison Barnes the answer?

According to reports, the Bucks and Sacramento Kings have discussed a sign-and-trade scenario that would see the Bucks end up with both Harrison Barnes and Bogdan Bogdanovic. Because of their salary cap situation the Bucks will have to facilitate these types of deals just to be able to acquire some talent for next season.

Barnes is under contract for three more years. His career numbers include 13.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game, with 37.5% 3-point shooting since entering the league in 2012. He is owed $22.2 million for 2020-21, $20.3 million for 2021-22, and $18.4 million in 2022-23.

Would this be enough to keep Giannis?
