Daryl Morey Fined $50,000 for Inadvertent Tweet

Former Houston Rockets GM, and current Philadelphia 76ers VP Daryl Morey, has been fined $50,000 for a tweet that has since been deleted. The NBA announced on Monday that Morey violated its anti-tampering policy.
The fine is in response to a December 20th tweet about James Harden. The tweet celebrated the one-year anniversary of Harden breaking the Rockets' franchise assist record.
Morey is no stranger to Twitter controversy, as he thought that his NBA career might be in jeopardy due to his comments about China last year.

Perhaps Morey should be a little more careful when it comes to his social media accounts. The 76ers don't need another Bryan Colangelo situation.
