Dallas Mavericks Player Tests Positive for COVID-19
The Dallas Mavericks are the latest team to deal with a positive COVID-19 test and the team's roster is going to look much different because of it for a couple of weeks.
One player has tested positive and three other players will be required to quarantine, which will take place in Denver where the Mavericks will stay, as the results came back positive before the team's flight back to Texas.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the two players who are being held back because of contact tracing are expected to test negative moving forward and have been showing no signs of the virus.
Along with the Mavericks, the 76ers, Rockets and the Timberwolves have recently dealt with the effects of COVID and contact tracing. Unfortunately, it's the new norm and teams are going to have to adjust on the fly.
