Yikes! Celtics Down 3 Players

The Boston Celtics have gotten off to a strong start to the 2020-2021 season with a 7-3 record after last night's 116-107 victory over the new-look Washington Wizards.  You couldn't tell that they were down 3 key players - specifically in the frontcourt, but the Celtics' depth will be tested further over the next week as Tristan Thompson, Robert Williams, and Grant Williams all must undergo a 7-day quarantine before returning to action.

Of the three men set to miss time, Robert is the only one who actually tested positive for COVID-19:

It's not all bad news though, as sophomore guard Carsen Edwards - who was previously listed as questionable, has been cleared to return to action.  Unfortunately, the biggest attributes the C's will need to make up for will be size and rebounding, and having a guard like Edwards doesn't improve the team in either of those categories.  Jaylen Brown grabbing a career-high 13 rebounds certainly helps, but the Celtics will have to lean more on centers Daniel Theis and Tacko Fall to make up the deficit moving forward.
