2021 NBA Draft Prospect Dies in Car Accident

In tragic news announced on Thursday night, former Kentucky Wildcat guard Terrence Clarke, who was preparing for the upcoming NBA Draft, has died following a car accident in the LA area

UK head coach John Calipari released a statement on Twitter with his reaction to the premature death of Clarke, who was 19 years of age.
Clarke, a Freshman from the Boston neighborhood of Dorchester, had declared for the NBA Draft on March 19th and signed with Rich Paul's Klutch Sports.
Clarke came into UK as a potential lottery pick, but unfortunately only played in 8 games, averaging 9.6 ppg which dropped his stock heading into the upcoming draft. He was projected to go undrafted prior to team workouts, which may have led to him becoming a 2nd round draft pick.

Everyone at Bball Rumors extends their condolences and well wishes to Clarke's family.
