Kevin Porter Jr. Blows Up - Drops 50 Points on the Bucks

Kevin Porter Jr. had the finest outing of his young NBA career on Thursday night versus the Milwaukee Bucks, leading the Houston Rockets to a 143-136 win with a career-high 50 points to go along with 5 rebounds and a game-high 11 assists.

Porter became the 4th player in NBA history to score 50 points prior to turning 21 years of age.

Porter has had a tumultuous start to his career, as he was arrested last offseason for weapons charges, which were ultimately dropped - as were misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and driving without a license. He was later traded from Cleveland to Houston and has partnered with former NBA player and head coach John Lucas in Houston to help get his career back on track.

Christian Wood is a fan of Porter Jr., and if the Rockets can claim a top draft pick, and have a healthy John Wall for next year, look for the Rockets to move back into relevance.
