Klay Thompson Set for Return During 2021-22 Season

The Golden State Warriors are set to welcome back Klay Thompson after having missed the last two seasons following brutal Achilles and ACL injuries. The five-time All-Star was an integral member of the Warriors dominant stretch of play from 2015-2019, winning five straight Western Conference championships, as well as three NBA Finals. One half of the Splash Brothers, Thompson has averaged 19.5 ppg on a prolific 41.9 3FG% shooting throughout his career.
By all accounts, Thompson has made solid progress in his rehabilitation and will return to the lineup around Christmas-time.

The Warriors also updated the progress of last year's 2nd overall pick James Wiseman, who underwent surgery to repair his right meniscus back in April. Wiseman was underwhelming in his rookie year, but did show flashes of brilliance, and can certainly get on track for a solid career should he stay healthy.
If both Thompson and Wiseman can be healthy for the second half of the season, look for the Warriors to be one of the scarier teams in the league come playoff time.
