Anthony Davis Calls Out Lakers Teammates

Anthony Davis wants to see some change or else he thinks things are not going to finish well for the Los Angeles Lakers. The star center wants his teammates to change their games and get others more involved. He feels a team game is the key to winning a championship.

Davis recently spoke to the media about his views and he wasn't shy at all with his comments:

We got to decide who we want to be. A championship team? That's not us right now. We're not winning a championship the way we're playing. We got to be better, and we got to care more for our wins at home. Wins in general. That was embarrassing. We sucked. No defense. Can't score. That's not just this third quarter - it's every third quarter we've played this season. We come out slow, lackadaisical offensively and defensively. We got to get it together

It's been reported Davis led a conversation in the Lakers locker room. He apparently was candid with each teammate about what he would love to see more of, or less of if your Russell Westbrook. There's been a lot of conversations about his turnovers and Westbrook is trying to address this element of his game.

The third quarter is also a problem. The Lakers have been inconsistent with their second half starts and will need to address this issue as they carry on with the 2021-22 season. The Lakers will continue on without LeBron James as he's nursing an abdominal injury.  He's considered day-to-day as the Lakers host the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
