NBA Rumors: 4 Teams Interested In Cavaliers' Cedi Osman

According to Jake Fischer, the Charlotte Hornets, Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, and San Antonio Spurs are all interested in Cleveland Cavaliers forward Cedi Osman.

Osman is having a solid season right now, so it makes sense that multiple teams would like to have him on their rosters. In 37 games on the campaign, he is averaging 10.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. All four of the teams interested in him would benefit from adding him to their roster if he can continue to play like this, too.

At this point of the season, the Hornets have a 27-22 record and are seventh in the Eastern Conference. With this, they surely are in the playoff hunt, so it makes sense for them to try to make some additions to their roster by the deadline.

The Mavericks would like to add a forward by the deadline, so Osman could be an intriguing target for them. It appears that they will be in the playoffs this spring, as they are 28-21. However, if they wish to actually go on a run, they should make upgrades, naturally.

It seems like the Bucks are in on everybody and it makes sense. After winning the championship last season, they currently have a 30-20 record and are sixth in the Eastern Conference. That is a bit low for their standards, so it makes sense that they are looking to add a player like Osman.

Osman would have a chance to play more minutes with the struggling San Antonio Spurs. Since he has multiple years left on his contract, it isn't out of the question that a below-average team would be calling the Cavaliers about him, too.

However, with Cleveland also having a strong season, they may elect to keep Osman around. He's been one of their top role players, so why fix what isn't broken, right? Alas, let's see what they do with him.
