NBA Rumors: Goran Dragic To Be Bought Out, Multiple Teams Interested

Goran Dragic's tumultuous time in Toronto has finally come to an end as it has been reported that the Raptors have traded the disgruntled point guard to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for veteran forward Thaddeus Young.

Dragic has suited up for just five games this season before deciding to step away from the team, while Young has played 26 games this season, contributing 6.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in limited minutes.  The versatile forward can help the Raptors off the bench, and the mere fact that he is actually going to be dressed and ready to play automatically makes the Raptors a better team then they were yesterday.  Acquiring the 33-year-old veteran helps bolster the team's depth heading into the playoffs, while the Spurs are trending in the opposite direction, as they are more likely to end up with a lottery pick than they are to make the playoffs.

Dragic isn't expected to suit up for the Spurs this season, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

The Mavericks are thought to be the favorite thanks to Dragic being friends with Mavs' star Luka Doncic, but the Bucks, Bulls, or Clippers could provide a bigger role for the 35-year-old floor general.
