NBA Rumors: Pacers Open To Trading Guard

According to Michael Scotto, the Indiana Pacers are open to moving Buddy Hield by the trade deadline.

The Pacers just acquired Hield in a multi-player deal with the Sacramento Kings that was centered around Domantas Sabonis. Yet, it appears that his time as a Pacer could already be coming to a close right as it started.

The Pacers are currently selling and selling plenty at that. At this juncture of the campaign, they have a 19-37 record and are 13th in the Eastern Conference. They are clearly embarking on a rebuild, as they also are shopping center Myles Turner, too.

There should be a good amount of interest in Hield at the deadline. In 55 games this season, he has averaged 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. With numbers like these, he could be a nice addition to a team in need of a guard. This is especially true if that said team is looking to go on a playoff run this spring.

Alas, it will be interesting to see where he ends up from here.
