NBA Rumors: Pacers Guard Wants To Stay Put

The Indiana Pacers finished the 2021-22 season with a 25-57 record. With this, they are certainly rebuilders and should have themselves an eventful summer because of it. Yet, one player who has made it clear that he wants to stay put is Malcolm Brogdon.

Since the Pacers acquired Tyrese Haliburton from the Sacramento Kings, Brogdon's name has come up in the rumor mill frequently. Yet, even with this being the case, the 29-year-old guard would rather stay with the Pacers than not. It will be intriguing to see if that impacts Indiana's decision regarding him this summer.

In 36 games this season, Brogdon averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. Thus, when healthy, he was quite effective. If he is made officially available by the Pacers, there would be a sizeable market for him, too.

Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see what happens with Brogdon from here. If he has it his way, he will be back in Indiana for the 2022-23 season.
