Warriors Re-Sign 25 PPG G League Guard To Contract

A very productive season in the G League this past year, averaging 25 points per game, has landed 25-year-old guard Quinndary Weatherspoon another contract with the Golden State Warriors.

The 6'3" guard was first signed to an Exhibit 10 deal in training camp last year, then was signed to the Warriors' Santa Cruz affiliate in the G League, where he posted impressive numbers of 25.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game over 20 contests.

That was enough to earn him first a 10-day hardship deal in December, and then a two-way contract for the rest of the season.

Now, he's got himself another two-way contract for the coming season. He becomes the first NBA player in history to spend part of four seasons on a two-way deal. He was previously with the San Antonio Spurs his first two years in the league.
