NBA Rumors: Jae Crowder Has A New Serious Suitor In Eastern Conference

Jae Crowder is looking for a new opportunity, and the Phoenix Suns are prepared to grant it to him, scouring the market trying to find a trade partner. According to NBA Insider Shams Charania, it appears that the Atlanta Hawks have emerged as a serious suitor.

"Sources tell me the Hawks have emerged as a suitor among interested teams in Suns forward Jae Crowder," says Charania. "The Hawks and Suns have had conversations in recent weeks and months, I'm told, as Atlanta is seeing if there's a pathway to bring Crowder into a Big 3 of Trae Young, Dejounte Murray and John Collins."

There are a number of teams that have been linked to Crowder in recent trade talk, including two other Eastern Conference contenders, one of them a recent world champion.

Crowder has been absent from training camp while the Suns try to work out a deal for the disgruntled veteran. Bossman was apparently not happy with the prospect of coming off the bench with the Suns, who have done the expected and named Cam Johnson as their starting power forward.
