ICYMI: Joel Embiid DESTROYS Ja Morant With Block Of The Year

It's one of those highlights that you just can't stop watching. And that you'll be seeing over and over and over again the rest of this season. Two of the most dynamic players in the game met in mid-air at the apex of their respected lift, and it resulted in one of the NBA plays of the year:

"You almost cannot believe what you're seeing!" was the stunned call by TNT play-by-play man Kevin Harlan.

Indeed. As Ja Morant exploded to the basket primed for a monster dunk on PJ Tucker's bean, Joel Embiid met him at the height of his launch, and emphatically rejected Morant.

And it all came in a one-point game with just over a minute to go, allowing the Sixers to go downcourt and get the eventual game-winning three-pointer by Tobias Harris, and then an empahtic breakaway dunk of his own by Embiid to seal it.

'The Process' finished the game with six blocks, 19 rebounds and 27 points, as the Sixers beat the Grizzlies 110-105.
