NBA Rumors: Was Westbrook's Next Destination Revealed By What WASN'T Done At Deadline?

There were scads and scads of deals done on this wildest of trade deadlines in the NBA. Some of them made a lot of sense; some of them, maybe not so much. Yet.

The Los Angeles Clippers were one of the more active teams, trading away John Wall, Reggie Jackson and Luke Kennard, while bringing in Mason Plumlee, Eric Gordon and Bones Hyland.

Of note: they dealt both of their true point guards, and did not get one back.

In addition, it's known that Russell Westbrook, who will be bought out by the Utah Jazz (where he landed after a 3-team trade), does have interest in staying in his hometown in L.A., with the Clippers.

Is it safe to assume that the Clippers already knew before they made that flurry of deals that Westbrook would be signing with them?

Westbrook's days with the Los Angeles Lakers came to a fiery end, when he had loitered on the floor after being subbed out Tuesday night, and got into a "heated exchange" with coach Darvin Ham in the halftime locker room.

We should know soon whether Westbrook will be just wheeling his belongings down the hall at Crypto.com Arena.
