Breaking: Boston Celtics Forward Gets Moved To Dallas In Three Team Deal

After a wild few days to start NBA free agency, the moves have certainly slowed down over the last day or two, but on Wednesday after much speculation surrounding RFA forward Grant Williams of the Boston Celtics, they've now found a sign-and-trade deal.

In four seasons in Boston, Williams became a physical presence in the front court for the Celtics, and now, he lands with the Dallas Mavericks in a three team deal that sees the San Antonio Spurs receive forward Reggie Bullock and an unprotected Dallas pick swap in 2030, while Boston will be landing multiple second-round picks.

This seems to be a solid deal for every team involved, with the Mavericks adding another piece to a team with a superstar back court that appears to be chasing a playoff run in 2023, and now we will see whether or not he can reach his full potential in a more expanded role.
