Breaking NBA Trade: Collin Sexton on the Move From Utah
Just one day out from the start of free agency in the NBA, we have a major trade featuring two veteran starters. The Utah Jazz are sending Collin Sexton to the Charlotte Hornets for center Jusuf Nurkic.

The Jazz also send a second-rounder to Charlotte.
Sexton has averaged 18.8 points and 3.7 assists per game in his seven-year career, and his addition by the Hornets is an interesting one. The team's starting backcourt is full with LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller, so Sexton will be the third guard off the bench, forming a very strong trio, while giving Ball some help in the ballhandling department.
Or... will Sexton be replacing Ball at the point if offseason trade rumors come to fruition? There were reports earlier this year that 'Melo was unhappy in Charlotte.
Nurkic is a 10-year veteran who is capable of a double-double at any time, averaging 11.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in his career, finishing four different seasons with a double-double.
This is Nurkic's second time traded in the last three months, as he went from the Phoenix Suns to the Hornets at the deadline. The 30-year-old saw his playing time vastly curtailed in Charlotte, down to 18 minutes a game. He won't be starting in Utah, unless they move Walker Kessler, who is in demand around the league as a trade target.
