Breaking NBA Trade: Dorian Finney-Smith Bolts Lakers in Free Agency for Western Rival
The first big signing of free agency has come down, as Dorian Finney-Smith, who just opted out of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers to become a free agent, has agreed to a four-year, $53 million deal to join the Houston Rockets.

It's been revealed that the Lakers had offered Finney-Smith only a two-year deal before he signed with the Rockets.
The scrappy 3-and-D wing will bring back plenty of defensive intensity to the Rockets on the perimeter, after they dealt away Dillon Brooks in the Kevin Durant trade.
He averaged 8.7 points while shooting 41.4% from 3-point range last season with the Lakers.
Finney-Smith is one of two major additions to the Rockets, as they also re-signed Clint Capela in free agency. Capela had spent the first six years of his NBA career in Houston.
