Video: Giannis Antetokounmpo Leaves Door Open For Bolting the Bucks
Just when it was safe for Milwaukee Bucks fans to look forward to more of Giannis Antetokounmpo in the years to come, the Greek Freak did an interview with a comment that raised at least a few eyebrows this weekend.
"So you staying in Milwaukee?" he was asked:
“Probably. We’ll see. I love Milwaukee.”

“Uhh... P-Probably (as he turns his head away from the host)... We’ll see... We'll see... (long pause)... Probably, I love Milwaukee.”
Watching his hesitation, it's not the most convincing answer. And with that, once again, Giannis has left the door open for a possible departure from Milwaukee.
Will Giannis Antetokounmpo Leave Milwaukee?
The Bucks have made some significant moves this summer, in their never-ending efforts to keep Antetokounmpo happy and convinced that they have a shot at being a title contender.
On the down side, Damian Lillard, who will miss all of next season with a torn Achilles, was waived, and they also lost longtime center Brook Lopez in free agency to the LA Clippers.
But the Bucks did make a big splash by stealing center Myles Turner from the Indiana Pacers with a huge free agent signing. They will also be adding Cole Anthony in the backcourt, following his buyout this weekend from the Orlando Magic.
Milwaukee was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs once again this year, and has only won one series in four years since their 2021 championship run.
A two-time MVP, Giannis averaged 30.4 points and 11.9 rebounds per game this past season.
