Breaking: Luka Doncic Makes Huge Decision on Lakers Future
Luka Doncic has only spent half a season with the Los Angeles Lakers, but it was more than enough to convince him that a longer-term future with the Purple & Gold was in order, as he has agreed to sign a three-year, $165 million max extension. And according to Bobby Marks, his next extension will be a lot more insane than that.

Luka posted the news himself:

I’m really grateful to the Lakers organization, my teammates and the fans for welcoming me and my family with so much support and kindness since day one. This is an amazing organization, and I truly believe in what we’re building together. I’m going to keep working as hard as I can to bring another championship to Los Angeles and to make Laker Nation proud. This is just the beginning. I’m excited for what’s ahead and to keep building something special with this team.
According to HoopsHype, this new deal puts Luka in the Top 25 All-Time in earnings in the NBA. And he's still just 26 years old.
And once this extension is up, he'll be eligible for an even more insane $417 million deal.

Doncic came to the Lakers in an earth-shaking trade from the Dallas Mavericks back in February. Speculation about his future in LA began almost immediately, and now, for the next three+ years at least, it's coming to fruition.
In his 28 regular season games with the Lakers, he averaged 28.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 8.1 assists.
