Former Knicks & Lakers Forward Cam Reddish Makes Free Agent Decision

A former top 10 pick in the NBA Draft, Cam Reddish hasn't received much interest on the free agent market this summer. So he's taking his talents overseas, and is reported to be signing with BC Šiauliai in Lithuania.

According to BasketNews, he is "in advanced talks" to sign with the Lithuanian club after six seasons in the NBA.

Reddish spent much of the last two years with the LA Lakers, but as has been the case for several seasons now, just hasn't been able to showcase his skills the way he'd like. In 81 total games with LA, he averaged 19.4 minutes per game, and only 4.5 points and 2.0 rebounds.

He also spent parts of two seasons before that with the New York Knicks, but then-head coach Tom Thibodeau wasn't a big fan, and Reddish went through a streak of 33 straight DNP-CDs after he fell out of the coach's rotation in December of 2022.

He was traded to Portland, and then moved to the Lakers.

Reddish's NBA career began with a bit more promise after he was selected 10th overall by the Atlanta Hawks in the 2019 Draft. He got full rotation minutes in Atlanta, averaging over 26 1/2 minutes in his 2 1/2 years there. He put up 11.1 ppg and 3.4 rebounds with that playing time.

Overall, Reddish posted career averages of 8.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 23 minutes per contest.
