There's One Player the Sacramento Kings Are 'Desperate' To Trade

Things are sinking to new lows in Sacramento, and Thursday night it led to a confrontation between a Kings courtside 'superfan' and Zach LaVine. It could be another nail in the coffin for LaVine in Northern California, as we're hearing that the team is "desperate" to rid themselves of the defensively-challenged scorer.

LaVine is averaging 20 points per game, but his defense remains a problem. That is what set off superfan Devlin Carter during the Kings' 112-100 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday.

"After not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, 5, but after the 6th time Zach LaVine leaves his man wide open for a three, (head coach) Doug Christie calls a time out, they come over to the bench. I say, 'Yo, we don't pay to watch you not play defense.'"

That's when LaVine shouted back, “GO HOME N*****... Take your *ss home, n*****!"

"I said, 'No, I pay to be here. You go home. You get paid over $40 million and you got only eight points and we're in the 4th quarter. YOU didn't show up! Once again, YOU didn't show up'. All these fans in Sacramento deserve better than this. This is one of the dopest and best fanbases."

Nevertheless, the team had Carter—who owns courtside seats that cost in the neighborhood of $200,000 a year—removed from the game. Afterwards, he apologized to the arena staff whom he knows very well, who had to escort him from the building.

The Kings are now 5-14, in the 13th seed in the West. And kicking their most loyal fans out of their games.
