Giannis Antetokounmpo Confirms Trade Talks With Knicks Took Place
The rumors were shocking last offseason, when it was reported that Giannis Antetokounmpo had asked for a trade to the New York Knicks. Nobody confirmed this on either the Knicks side or the Milwaukee Bucks side. But now, in a new interview with the Greek Freak himself, he has confirmed that trade talks between the Knicks and Bucks were REAL.

In an interview with Lori Nickel of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the two-time MVP acknowledged the talks with the Knicks were legit.
New York was again one of the teams that seriously tried to land Giannis at the trade deadline in February, but it's unclear how serious the Bucks were at that point about trading him.
Recent developments have driven a wedge between the superstar and the team, as they have vehemently disagreed on his ability to return from injury to play down the stretch this season. The NBA is actually investigating that situation for any wrongdoing on behalf of the Bucks.
A trade this offseason seems like almost a certainty now, and we assume the Knicks will be back in the mix—but this time, with a slew of other contenders for Antetokounmpo's services.
