Insider Sam Amick brings us this report, and says the Pistons are in search of additional shooting and playmakers in return.
Stewart has had a tumultuous six-year run in his time in the Motor City. The volatile center has been prone to temper tantrums on the court, and has been suspended five times for a total of 15 games. But while Stewart is the frontcourt piece the Pistons are looking to trade, there's significant interest in another Pistons' big man, as the LA Lakers are said to have their eye on Jalen Duren.🚨 The Lakers have done extensive homework on Jalen Duren and could pursue a trade for the Pistons' center. pic.twitter.com/KuBRJ5VSpd

Duren is a restricted free agent, but he broke out in a big way this season, upping his scoring by eight points a night to 19.5 ppg. The Pistons have no interest in letting him get away.
Detroit also has a couple of other notable names around the league on its radar, according to Amick.
(Detroit is) believed to be among the suitors for Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves if he makes it to unrestricted free agency, (and) is also said to be interested in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Isaiah Joe.
Joe was a huge cog off the bench for the Thunder during the regular season, though his contributions faded significantly in the playoffs. He has two years to run on his deal at a reasonable $12M AAV, but OKC will look to save money somehow this offseason, as they are projected to be $28.5 million over the second apron. Purging some mid-tier contracts would be a way to address that, and Joe potentially fits that mold.
The Lakers also have interest in Joe as a floor spacer to help out Luka Doncic.
As for Reaves, the Pistons can wish and hope all they like, but it's highly expected that the Lakers' burgeoning superstar will be re-signing on a max deal with LA before other teams are able to begin negotiations in free agency the night of June 30th.
