Chris Paul OUT Indefinitely Due to COVID-19 Protocols

In a dramatic development, Phoenix Suns' point guard Chris Paul has entered the NBA's COVID-19 health & safety protocols, and is out indefinitely. Just days away from the Conference Finals for only the second time in his career, Paul's status is now up in the air.

It's unclear at this point exactly what the medical circumstances are. But Jalen Rose is reporting that CP3 IS vaccinated:

Paul has played a key role in the Suns' run to the WCF, providing veteran leadership for the team's young core, along with an incredible run for him in these playoffs. He averaged 25.5 ppg with 62% shooting in their 4-game sweep of the Denver Nuggets, including a 37-point exclamation mark in Game 4.

We will continue to update this story as it evolves.
