Video: Los Angeles Lakers' Tribute For Alex Caruso

On Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls point guard Alex Caruso returned to Staples Center for the first time with his new team. As a result of this, the Lakers played a tribute video for the former fan favorite.

It's always nice to see a team do this for a former player, no matter the sport. In Caruso's, the Lakers did a great job showing his journey to the NBA and top highlights with the team. Furthermore, it also gives you a solid picture of Caruso's personality off the court, which is an added bonus.

In 184 games over four seasons with the Lakers, Caruso averaged 5.9 PPG, 2.3 rebounds and 2.5 assists. He handled his depth role with the team very well due to his high degree of effort. Thus, it feels right that he ended up winning a championship in 2020 with them.

Yet, Caruso is now just beginning his next chapter with the Bulls. The 27-year-old signed a four-year, $37 million contract with them over the summer, so yes, he has plenty of time to become a favorite with the Bulls, too.
