NBA Rumors: 4 Teams Linked To Zach LaVine in Free Agency

There's plenty of speculation making the rounds about where the Chicago Bulls' high-scoring guard Zach LaVine will end up this summer. The 27-year-old enters free agency coming off another All-Star season.

LaVine is looking for a max contract, and the Bulls have made it clear they want to retain him. However, at the NBA Draft Combine this past week, with scouts and executives from across the league all gathered, the LaVine talk was in high gear. KC Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports that "league gossip throughout this week has linked LaVine to at least four teams."

The Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, and Los Angeles Lakers were all named as possible landing spots.

The Trail Blazers make the most sense of these, as they are the only team that has the cap space, LaVine is from the Pacific Northwest (Seattle), and they'd love to deliver Damian Lillard the superstar side-kick he's been clamoring for.

As for the Lakers, despite their complete lack of cap room, this is the 2nd time they've come up in relation to LaVine, as infamous basketball dad LaVar Ball had some takes along those lines as well.

One thing seems to be clear: LaVine returning to the Windy City isn't the slam dunk it was once thought to be.
