NBA Rumors: Shocking Revelations About LA Clippers & Trade Talks

Are the Los Angeles Clippers about to make a monumental decision for their direction going forward? According to MLB Insider Marc Stein, the Clips may be considering the idea of trading one of their franchise pillars.

Stein says the Clippers have given rival teams the impression that they are gauging Paul George's trade value and are "giving real consideration to the idea of disassembling the Kawhi Leonard-Paul George tandem."

That would be a shocking development, given the amount of money and assets poured into acquiring and keeping those two together these past few years (to very little positive results, one might add).

George is one of the names that's been linked to the Portland Trail Blazers in their never-ending search to add proven stars to the team to surround Damian Lillard. Would the Blazers' No. 3 pick in tomorrow night's NBA Draft, plus Anfernee Simons, get that deal done?

PG13 and Kawhi have spent most of their time together in LA on the injured list, as they've played just 142 games together out of the Clippers' 318 games in the past four seasons.

Perhaps the Clips are finally admitting that this just won't work, for whatever reason.

Another fascinating story to watch in advance of Thursday night's draft.
