Breaking Free Agent Signing: Amir Coffey Agrees to Deal With Eastern Contender

One of the more notable names left in free agency, Amir Coffey, has agreed to a one-year deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.

A follow-up report by Eric Nehm indicates that this is a training camp deal for Coffey with Milwaukee.

Coffey had been with the LA Clippers for the first six years of his career, where he averaged a career-best 9.7 points, and a robust 40.9% from three-point range last season in an average of 24.3 minutes off the bench.

After going undrafted in his 2019 Class, he caught on with the Clips, and the 28-year-old has put together a solid career as a trusted player off the bench.

He was generally thought of as the 3rd best remaining free agent, behind only Russell Westbrook and Al Horford (though they both seem to have likely locations set up at this point.)
