Giannis Antetokounmpo Admits He Could Still 'Change My Mind' About Bucks

He certainly sounds like he's locked in to help try to take the Milwaukee Bucks this season back to the NBA Finals for the first time in five years. But after an offseason of on-again, off-again, will-he or won't-he decide to move on from Milwaukee rumors, Giannis Antetokounmpo has once again left the door ajar for him to decide that the Bucks aren't the best place for him to be, after all.

“I’ve said this many times, I want to be in a situation that I can win and now I’m here. I believe in this team. I believe in my teammates. I’m here to lead this team to wherever we can go and it’s definitely going to be hard…Now, if in six, seven months, I change my mind I think that’s human too, you’re allowed to make any decision you want, but I’m locked in. I’m locked in to this team.”

The Bucks have made some significant changes this offseason, letting longtime defensive stalwart center Brook Lopez go in free agency, and instead handing out a huge deal to a younger rim protector and floor spacer in former Indiana Pacers star Myles Turner. Damian Lillard is gone (first to a torn Achilles, then via a buyout and waiving). The talented but volatile Kevin Porter Jr. is the new starting point guard.

Safe to say, from the sounds of it, if this Bucks team doesn't make a good playoff run and establish themselves as a championship contender (about six or seven months from now, as Giannis alluded to), the superstar Greek Freak could decide to take his talents out of Wisconsin.
