Milwaukee Bucks Sign Antetokounmpo, Make History
The Milwaukee Bucks spent the whole summer wondering if superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo was happy and willing to stay with the team long term. Giannis himself had—and continues to have—an on-again, off-again debate on whether he will want to move on or not.
Perhaps Milwaukee's latest move will convince Giannis just how much the Bucks family is his family: They've signed the Greek Freak's youngest brother, Alex Antetokounmpo to a two-way deal, making it the first time in NBA history that three brothers will be on the same team at the same time.
The Bucks are signing Alex Antetokounmpo, younger brother of Giannis and Thanasis, to a two-way NBA deal, per @ShamsCharania.

Alex joins Giannis and Thanasis wearing the Deer colors, though it remains to be seen if he actually sees any time with the NBA team. The 24-year-old has spent some time in the G League since going undrafted in 2021, as well as time overseas. He played in Spain in 2020-21, and last year suited up for PAOK in Greece. He averaged just 1.2 points and 1.1 rebounds in 14 games.
He's also been with the Raptors 905 and the Wisconsin Herd in the G League, averaging 5.0 points and 2.6 boards in 65 games total across three seasons.
Thanasis, 33, signed a one-year, $2.9 million deal to return to the Bucks this past offseason. He's been with the team, in a very limited capacity for the past five years, averaging about seven minutes a game when he isn't a DNP-CD.
We'll see if the family affair keeps Giannis in Milwaukee past this year.
