The ‘Most Toxic Team Situation’ in NBA Revealed
The situation in Milwaukee is growing worse and worse by the day. The Bucks are floundering, at 31-47 going into Tuesday's play, and have lost 15 of their last 20 games. On top of that, superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and the team are at odds about whether he should be allowed to return to play the last few games of the season. He'll almost certainly be dealt this summer.
With all of this, plus the fact that head coach Doc Rivers is doing nothing to drown out the drama (and is, in fact, adding to it), the Bucks have become the 'most toxic team situation' in the NBA.
With Giannis' status up in the air, word around the league is Milwaukee is not a fun place at the moment 😳

Here's what veteran Bobby Portis had to say about the noxious air around the team:
"This is why we suck -- we carry ourselves like everything is fine, and we have no f---ing urgency," Portis said. "We just lost by 45. Everybody's body language is terrible. No one is listening to coaches."
Ah, speaking of the coaches.
Doc Rivers berated Bucks players, telling them to 'look up his resume'
Just as central to the toxic environment is head coach Doc Rivers. He reportedly chided his players at a team meeting last month, telling them to "look up his resume." Wow.
Bucks head coach Doc Rivers reportedly implored his players to “look up his résumé” during a team meeting in early March, per @ShamsCharania.

“I took teams to the playoffs and to the championship that weren’t supposed to. I thought this was one of them. Either you’re with us or… pic.twitter.com/W35I5RMp7N
Rivers' delusional rant apparently went like this, per Shams Charania:
“I took teams to the playoffs and to the championship that weren’t supposed to. I thought this was one of them. Either you’re with us or against us. If you’re not playing hard, we’re not playing you anymore. I know everything that goes on in this building.”
Of course, what Rivers failed to mention is that many of those playoff teams he was running actually choked away 3-1 series leads. Doc is the only head coach in NBA history to blow multiple 3-1 leads, doing it three times.
He tried to tell us a few weeks back that Giannis has never said anything to the Bucks about wanting out. Of course, the Greek Freak recently confirmed that the rumor about him wanting a trade to the New York Knicks last summer was true.
All in all, it's a sad situation in Milwaukee, as their two-time MVP and Finals MVP Giannis has probably played his last game there.
