Giannis Antetokounmpo Pushing Behind Scenes For 2 Trade Destinations

The future of Giannis Antetokounmpo seems to be narrowed down to one of two teams. Reports today say that Giannis is pushing hard behind the scenes for a trade to either the Miami Heat or Boston Celtics.

Those are the two teams that he's willing to sign an extension with.

Bill Simmons says that Boston is a real wild card in all this.

"Giannis is pushing for Miami or Boston. Those are the two locations and really wants to end up in Boston because he would have the best chance to win a title. Boston is not ruling out the idea is my intel. In general, I’m prepared for anything with Boston now.”

While it's unknown yet exactly what the Celtics will be able to cobble together to satisfy the Milwaukee Bucks, we do know the Heat's offer, according to The Stein Line:

It's a massive package, as Miami will be sending promising future star center Kel'el Ware, along with Sixth Man of the Year runner-up Jaime Jaquez Jr., and another young talent Nikola Jovic, along with star guard Tyler Herro, PLUS a first-rounder in this month's draft (#13) and other draft assets.

The Bucks could then re-route Herro, as they likely wouldn't be interested in his $33M owed for next season. And it sounds like the Detroit Pistons could act as the conduit here, as they would like to get their hands on Herro to take some scoring pressure off Cade Cunningham.

Evan Sidery says that the Pistons could be open to offering Caris LeVert and their No. 21 pick in the first round of this month's Draft to Milwaukee in return for Herro.

And while the Bucks are shopping that Heat offer around, it seems highly unlikely that the Celtics --or any team for that matter-- will be able to top that huge return.

It's all expected to come to a head before the Draft, which is less than two weeks away.
