'Big Trade' Coming From the Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are going to make a trade as we approach the March 25th trade deadline, who and who with remains to be seen. The team is loaded with talent and have been slightly underperforming so far this season as the team sits at 17-17, good for 6th in the East.

Rival executives have the Celtics on their radar as a team that wants to find someone who can play at either forward position and provide the team with some secondary scoring.

From Al Horford to center Andre Drummond, the team has been linked to a few names already this season on either the trade-front or buy-out market. Two other names to look out for are DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge, both pending free-agents who could be on the Celtics radar.

Here's the latest from Danny Ainge regarding his next move :

If there's players we can get that can put us over the top and keep us under the hard cap, we'll do a deal that falls into that category. But we're not going to do it for a band-aid or somebody that maybe, maybe, will help us a game or two.

When Gordon Hayward left for Charlotte it opened up a history trade-exception of $28.5 million. Ainge and the Celtics are going big-name shopping so don't expect any 'filler' type of moves from the long-time exec. When the Celtics make a trade it will be a big splash!
