NBA Rumors: Hawks Aren't Done Dealing Yet, All But 2 Players Are Available

With today's trade of Cam Reddish to the New York Knicks, the Atlanta Hawks are just at the beginning of their deadline dealing, according to Bleacher Report's Jake Fischer. “Everyone but Trae Young and Clint Capela are available,” an assistant GM told Fischer this week.

John Collins, whose unhappiness with the Hawks right now is well-documented, is said to have "a lot of fans around the league. San Antonio and Dallas have frequently been linked as suitors for some time."

If Collins wants a bigger role in the offense, suggests Fischer, he might have to look for greener pastures, as the Young-Capela pick-and-roll will be the focal point of Atlanta's offense for some time to come.

He also reports that Danilo Gallinari's name is getting a lot of circulation around the league now.

In what's become an understatement at this point, regarding Hawks GM Travis Schlenk, “Travis is not going to be afraid to shake it up,” as one general manager told Fischer. That would be an understatement, considering he said last week that he regrets "bringing everyone back" on long-term deals.

We reported last week that deals were in the offing, including the possibility of a Reddish trade, which came to fruition today.
