Breaking NBA News: 'Crucial' Meeting Scheduled for Bucks & Giannis Antetokounmpo
The rumors of Giannis Antetokounmpo's potential trade out of Milwaukee have been spreading like wildfire ever since it was reported earlier this month that he was finally open to considering his future with the Bucks and potentially asking out.
Now we're hearing from insider Chris Haynes that the Bucks and the Greek Freak have set up a "crucial" meeting to discuss all of this.
BREAKING: Bucks make contact with Giannis Antetokounmpo and now very crucial meeting is scheduled for next week, sources tell me. On latest Haynes Briefs episode, details on how this came about and what happens from here. #haynesbriefshttps://t.co/fJZS1NEi2t pic.twitter.com/hyxEQnghzg

"The Bucks made contact with Giannis Saturday morning, and sources say that a meeting is expected to be scheduled for mid-next week. This is where Giannis is going to have the chance to speak with Bucks' brass and talk about the direction of the team," reported Haynes.
"This is going to be a very, very crucial meeting next week."
Indeed, it's a get-together that could shake the NBA to its very foundations. Having the two-time MVP and 2021 Finals MVP and NBA champion officially on the trade market will send shockwaves throughout the league.
Shams Charania reported a week ago that "for the first time in his 12-year NBA career, (Giannis) is open-minded about whether his best fit is playing in Milwaukee or elsewhere."
The proposed trade ideas have been flowing in since then, including a pairing with Victor Wembanyama on the San Antonio Spurs, a long-sought-after landing spot in Toronto with old Antetokounmpo family friend and advisor Masai Ujiri, and even a blockbuster proposal that would launch him to the Rockets in Houston.
