Atlanta Hawks Officially Sign RFA Bogdan Bogdanovic

When the Atlanta Hawks offered Bogdan Bogdanovic a 4-year, $72M deal, the Sacramento Kings were on the clock. The Kings have officially declined to match the offer, which now makes Bogdanovic a member of the Hawks.

The Sacramento Kings have declined to match the Atlanta Hawks’ four-year, $72 million offer sheet for restricted free agent guard Bogdan Bogdanovic, sources tell ESPN.

The Hawks have made quite a splash in the free agent market, and a few pundits are pegging Atlanta to contend for a playoff spot in the East.

It remains to be seen whether the new look Hawks can come together quickly in a condensed season. However, the front office has certainly done its job of surrounding Trae Young with talent, and there is no doubt that Atlanta will be more competitive in the East.
